MESSAGE OF THE MONTH Thank you for suggesting that Moon viewers look for the Eyes of Clavius, and for giving the date and approximate time to look (Sky Guide, November issue). I didn't know about this lunar clair-obscur effect before, but thanks to you I decided to take a look late in the afternoon on 9 November 2024, and there it was. In my image (right), north is up, and I also caught the shadow of the Straight Wall (Rupes Recta) as a bonus. Thank you again for bringing knowledge and pleasure to those who look at the skies.
