MAT GETS NEW CEO Anthony Murray has been appointed the new CEO of McLaren Applied Technologies, after 24-year McLaren veteran Dick Glover stepped down. Glover started his career at Ricardo in 1980 before joining McLaren Racing in 1995 to develop racing fuels. He then led the development of the 12C road car as technical director of the Automotive division from 2007-2014, when he was appointed Chief Technology Officer at MAT. Murray most recently worked as a senior executive at Qualcomm. FS TEAMS ANNOUNCED Over 120 teams from three continents will contest this year’s Formula Student event at Silverstone in July, organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
