First female Saudi racer joins Double R

BRITISH F4 Saudi Arabia’s first ever female racing driver will compete in the British Formula 4 Championship this year with Double R Racing. Reema Juffali, 27, began racing in Abu Dhabi in the TRD 86 Cup for Toyota GT86s last year, just four months after her home country lifted a ban on women driving on the road. She has since moved into single-seaters, contesting the final weekend of the MRF Challenge. “I’m happy to be joining Double R Racing, a championship-winning team with such a great history, and to be competing in British F4 where many great drivers have started,” said Juffali. “It’s going to be a tough year in such a competitive championship, but I’m ready for the challenge.” Juffali will be joined at Double R, which carried Kiern Jewiss to the F4 title last…
