MG Live to host historic guest outings following hiatus

MG LIVE Two special historic guest races will form part of the timetable at this year’s MG Live, as the event returns after a year’s break due to Silverstone resurfacing work that forced the cancellation of the 2019 edition. The MG Car Club and British Motor Heritage will run a 40-minute pre-1966 saloons race, while Equipe Classic Racing and FISCAR will team up to run two joint races for 1950s cars. The invitational BMH race will use broadly the same regulations as the Goodwood Revival’s St Mary’s Trophy, though with Dunlop Historic Race tyres, and each car can have one or two drivers.
