“la ventaja de esta nueva fórmula consiste en que el mismo modelo homologado para rallyes podrá ser utilizado en circuitos y viceversa.” Este pasado verano la FIA anunciaba la creación de una nueva categoría de turismos en circuito basada en dos clases ya existentes en los rallyes. Se trata de la categoría TC Lite, que debería constituir el primer escalón de los turismos en circuito. La categoría se divide en TCL4 y TCL5, y está basada en los vehículos de Rally 4 y Rally 5 respectivamente. La idea es que los mismos vehículos ya homologados en Rally 4 y Rally 5 (incluyendo los vehículos Rally 5-Kit) puedan ser utilizados en circuito con mínimas modificaciones.
