VW no quiere dejar ningún escalón del mercado sin cubrir. Ahora le toca a un hueco que tenía entre el Tiguan y el Touareg, y se trata del Tayron, un SUV de 4,79 metros que como característica principal tiene la de ofertar hasta siete plazas. Pero si solo usas las cinco plazas habituales, puedes disfrutar de hasta 885 litros de maletero. El diseño no es nada sorprendente y podemos destacar el emblema en el frontal y trasero iluminado. La gama se compondrá de siete sistemas de propulsión, de las cuales dos de ellas serán híbridas enchufables de nueva generación (eHybrid) de manera que pueden alcanzar hasta 100 km de autonomía en solo eléctrico (y anuncia también que en total podría hacer 850 km sin repostar).
