PERSEVERANCIA Hasta la última prueba del campeonato disputada en Japón no se ha decidido, pero ya tenemos Campeón del Mundo de Rallyes 2024. Ha tenido que ser en una temporada en que el anterior vencedor Kalle Rovanpera decidió tomarse un respiro y disputar sólo algunas pruebas, como también lleva haciendo Sebastien Ogier durante los últimos 3 años. El belga Thierry Neuville, nuevo Campeón del Mundo de Rallyes lleva intentándolo desde el año 2012. Primero con un Citroën del equipo Junior WRT, pero en 2013 con un Ford Fiesta con el que consiguió la 2ª posición en el campeonato sin ganar ni un solo rallye. Ogier era la estrella del momento.
