Premier minispace Citroën, le C3 Picasso entend concurrencer les Fiat Idea, Nissan Note, Opel Meriva et Renault Grand Modus. S’il semble bénéficier d’une fiabilité mécanique bien maîtrisée depuis sa commercialisation, en début d’année 2009, il se montre fragile dans la qualité de ses matériaux. Principaux reproches: des portières et des joints d’étanchéité mal ajustés. À déplorer également, un vieillissement prématuré des assises de sièges dû à une usure du tissu, certaines ayant d’ailleurs fait l’objet d’un changement sous garantie.
