Plug-in X3 names its price

ELSEWHERE at BMW, the German firm has announced that its plug-in hybrid X3 xDrive30e (right) will start from £47,565 in the UK, with first deliveries due in December. The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and a small electric motor for a total system power output of 288bhp and 420Nm of torque. BMW claims the xDrive30e will cover up to 34 miles on electric power, emit 49g/km of CO2 and return as much as 128.4mpg. A fully electric X3, the iX3, is due next year.…
