When I was 21 I booked a one-way ticket, leaving my comfortable lifestyle back home to pursue a dream of photographing an adventure sport called Highlining.
Slacklining is a sport where a piece of webbing is fixed between two anchor points – highlining is the elevated version of this. It is this sport and those athletes who participate in it that I am passionate about photographing.
One of my biggest projects happened in Zakynthos, Greece, across a tourist destination called ‘Shipwreck Beach’, or Navagio beach. It involved rigging a 580 metre long line 210 metres above the beach.
