What lies ahead? The last I spoke to you we were all basking in the warm afterglow from Bathurst and Historic Sandown. The latter was a rip-roaring success. It was Gibson Motorsport’s final race meeting of 2014, and for me it summed up a very successful season. All year long we built a presence in Group C/A Heritage Touring Cars and the Victorian showcase meeting was a terrific finale, rounding off a year in which I felt the team accomplished a great deal. If our aim was to establish a GMS presence in the category – and it was – then I think Historic Sandown showed everyone who attended that we had achieved that objective.
