Artist Jeremy Goodman’s detailed watercolours capture the grand vision and attention to detail of passionate gardeners.

A beautiful garden can be described as a work of art and Crookwell artist Jeremy Goodman has taken that concept quite literally, creating incredibly detailed watercolour paintings of garden designs that are themselves a work of art. “My paintings reflect the grand vision of garden owners,” Jeremy explains. “I showcase the overall layout together with a scale and colour palette that gives a sense of depth to the artwork. It’s a very honest interpretation of the garden.” While candidly admitting he is himself not an avid gardener, Jeremy has always been inspired by the careful thought, consideration and attention people lavish on their gardens. “I think you can really see the love that goes into a beautiful garden,” he says.
