Dear reader, Welcome to another issue of Australian Country Homes. There’s something magical about art inspired by the sunburnt country we are lucky enough to call home. When nature is the focus, great beauty is often the result — well, when the brush is in the hands of a talented artist, that is. I am terrible at painting. Luckily for me, we were able to visit some truly skilled artisans in this issue who have shared their unique skills with us. In A Broad Canvas, on page 34, we speak with a man who paints exquisitely detailed watercolour maps of gardens, allowing you to capture your yard in all its glory.
