Louis Vuitton have always loved an adventure, giving us clothing collections that transport us around the globe. But their latest exploration is into uncharted territory, as the French brand launch their first collection of perfumes for men. Enlisting master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, they have created five fragrances that pay homage to the adventurer and his quest for self-revelation. Each of the fragrances have a story behind them, whether you’re treading the ground with Orage or taking flight with the fresh and bitter grapefruit and ginger L’Immensité. There is also a firm geographical inspiration to the fab five fragrances; Nouveau Monde (for the sweet toothed) is built around Guatemalan cocoa and saffron; Sur la Routes’ inspiration is Peruvian balsam, and Au Hasard’s boasts Sri Lankan sandalwood.
