It wouldn’t be a Washington off season without massive controversy and upheaval, and this one has been no exception — with the sea-change ahead of 2023 for the recently rebranded Commanders including turnover at the positions of quarterback, offensive coordinator and owner. As the tumultuous (and some would say disastrous) Dan Snyder era neared its end, the Commanders were ready to embrace the Josh Harris Era, with the presumptive new owner inheriting a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff game in 18 years, but that went 8-8-1 and narrowly missed a playoff berth last season.
