Times have changed in Jacksonville — fast and in a big way. Now, expectations have changed, too. The Jaguars, who in 2022 won their first AFC South championship in five seasons after back-to-back seasons with the league’s worst record, seem poised to take yet another jump in 2023. The reasons are many: a developing, young franchise quarterback; a mix of talent, experience and production at skill positions; a championship-winning head coach; a defense that specializes in takeaways and big plays; the moxie the Jags showed in erasing a 27-0 halftime deficit and storming back to beat the Chargers in the playoffs.
