OFFENSE WKU is hoping that new faces can turn the offense back into what it was in the mid-2010s. WKU hired Zach Kittley as its new coordinator after he led FCS Houston Baptist’s high-powered offense the last three seasons in the same role, and he’ll have familiar pieces to work with. Quarterback Bailey Zappe and receivers Jerreth Sterns, Josh Sterns and Ben Ratzlaff all followed Kittley from HBU, where in four games last season — three against FBS programs — the Huskies averaged 547.5 yards of offense.
