OFFENSE Middle Tennessee lost a good quarterback and gained another. Asher O’Hara transferred to FCS Sacramento State to play with his brother, but the Blue Raiders replaced him with former NC State starter Bailey Hockman. Last season, Hockman passed for 2,088 yards and 13 TDs in leading the Wolfpack to the Gator Bowl. Offensive coordinator Brent Dearmon is another new ingredient after calling plays at Kansas last season. Hockman and Dearmon should have a chance to guide a productive offense with the top running back and five key receivers back. Jarrin Pierce (59 receptions, 584 yards), Yusuf Ali (37 receptions, 457 yards) and CJ Windham (31 receptions, 331 yards) lead a deep and experienced receiving corps. Chaton Mobley (366 yards rushing, four TDs) is the returning starter in the backfield.…
