The word “portal” once conjured visions of being transported to a magical place like Narnia, or to another part of the universe via a wormhole. Now, to fans of college football, the word itself is the scourge of the sport. Or the panacea, depending on your perspective. In trying to sort through what felt like thousands of off season personnel moves, I have often felt as though I was working on our NFL issue. Free agency has trickled down to college football, and it has made following the sport virtually impossible without a resource like the one you’re holding right now.
