Picture a scenario in which all the modern conveniences we take for granted are no longer available. Law enforcement and emergency services, utilities, food supply lines, communications, clean water, sewage and sanitation … all gone.
These days, it’s not hard to imagine a catastrophic event powerful enough to shut down our entire supply and support grid.
A nuclear strike from a rogue dictator or terror organization to one or more of our big cities would draw in all first responders to deal with the immediate and long-term aftermath. Hundreds of thousands, or more, could lay dead or wounded, and many more would be displaced, adding further to the complexity of any restoration efforts.
There would be no 911, no available police to protect you and your loved ones, no EMS…
