Every year around this time, after all the holiday preparations, travel and general merriment have run their course, many of us take some time for a little serious introspection. It’s a nostalgic time, so we’re more inclined to think of family and friends, note the effects the passage of time has had on us and those around us and consider the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This is the stuff that New Year’s resolutions are made of.
