What would our world be like if we learned elevated listening skills as a child?
When reflecting on the innocence and seemingly boundless energy children have, what is the point in time
when their self expression is admonished?
In this 1st of 7 books in The Amazing Adventures of Lady Ella, The Listening Mentor book series,
kiddos and their loved ones learn how to listen without judgement, without interruption, without providing a solution
and without "stealing the stage".
To bring forth these lessons, people who have become certified in ELEVATED Listening through
"The Power of Listening" Certification Program, created and facilitated by Dr. Jacalyn Kerbeck,
work together to share these lessons through animal characters they have created.
Animals team up to teach children five to ten years of age how to improve their listening skills for a more successful and productive life. Additionally, children will learn how to interact with those from different backgrounds and cultures.
This book may be used in academia as a teacher's aid.
There are 9 animal characters, including both farm and forest animals, who learn key lessons about each other and themselves.
During their time together on Gentle Farm, they receive a visit from Lady Ella, The Listening Mentor, who helps them understand their own behavior as well as how to respect each other.
The journey continues in Book number 2, "Lady Ella's ABCs of Listening".
