SANKETUR PÅ OVERDREVET

Det er spændende at lave sin egen kryddersnaps, og naturen er et skatkammer af muligheder. Lige nu blomstrer en af de bedste snapseurter.

På overdrev og langs grøfter rundt om i Norden trives prikbladet perikon, Hypericum perforatum. Den blomstrer fra slutningen af juni til starten af september med gule blomster, der er samlet i toppe. Bladene er friskgrønne, ovale og modsatstillede og har kirtler, der ses som små prikker, der har givet planten sit navn. Planten er flerårig og 30-50 cm høj og vil på en tør og mager jord klare sig i konkurrencen mod græsser og andre kraftige planter Prikbladet perikon indeholder en masse forskellige aktive indholdsstoffer, bl.a. hyperforin og hypericin, der påvirker hjernens indhold af serotonin (et lykkefremmende stof). Planten bruges som naturlægemiddel mod nedtrykthed og depression. BLODRØD KRYDDERSNAPS Der er ingen beviser for, at en perikonsnaps virker på samme måde, men sanketuren gør i hvert fald én i godt humør.…
