Det har nu gått 30 år sedan hon slog igenom som artist – och lika länge sedan hon drabbades av MS. Louise Hoffsten njuter fullt ut av livet – som mamma, maka och vän.

I samma veva som Sveriges bluesdrottning Louise Hoffsten slog igenom stort med dunderhiten Let the Best man win 1993 fick hon också ett dystert sjukdomsbesked. Hon hade drabbats av MS, Multipel skleros, som påverkar det centrala nervsystemet. – Jag kände inte mina fötter. Det var som att gå på luft. Jag hade tappat känseln, förklarar hon för Allers, men säger att hon lärt sig leva med sjukdomen. – Jag ser mig inte själv som sjuk. Jag lever med sjukdomen, men jag är inte sjuk. ”Dan vill läsa tidningen, jag vill prata, det går inte alls ihop” Trots MS, som är en obotlig sjukdom, ser hon ljust på livet. – Jag mår bra.
