Pappa skämdes för sina skulder

Företagets konkurs var en stor skandal för pappa. Som tur var hittade jag ett sätt att hjälpa honom.

Min pappa har så länge jag kan minnas varit en drivande och väldigt framgångsrik företagare. Han var verkligen sin egen lyckas smed och arbetade hårt. När den ekonomiska krisen inträffade var det ju en svår tid i Sverige då många förlorade sina företag och ännu fler förlorade sina anställningar, och det blev tungt även för pappa. Efter att hans företag hade försatts i konkurs hade han svårt att hitta ett nytt arbete. Han vågade sig inte på att starta något eget, och han ansågs konstigt nog lite för gammal för en del jobb han sökte trots att han var väldigt kompetent och erfaren. Jag minns att vi i familjen inte berättade för någon att pappa var arbetslös. Det var lite av en skandal. Pappa var väldigt skamfylld och jag misstänker…
