Does space have a smell?

I am the creator of the fragrance Eau de Space, and I was originally approached by someone working at NASA back in 2008 with an idea to help make astronaut training more realistic by creating the smell experienced after walking in space. I don’t believe it was ever used in this way, but although I didn’t get to go into space myself or get to smell any spacesuits, I did receive transcripts of interviews with those astronauts that had walked in space. These included descriptions of what they experienced as an unusual odour when they returned to the safety of the capsule or Space Shuttle cabin.
