During Antoinette's summer break, her teacher, Ms. Lola has plans for the children in the program to do something special for the 4th of July. While discussing plans Antoinette sparks the main flame behind the story of, Freedom Day! As the children go on to discuss the holiday, which is widely known as Juneteenth, Antoinette describes all of the joys and wonders of the day from clothes to events.
