GETTING THE JOB DONE ON-SITE AND OFF-GRID, THIS NEXT-GEN RANGER JUST FLAT-OUT WORKS

THE current Ford Rangers are solid performers straight from the factory, offering a torquey turbo-diesel engine, comfortable suspension, and modern conveniences. They’re great work utes, able to handle heavy loads and tow with ease. For Mark Sinfield, a builder who enjoys off-road adventures, the Ranger was the perfect base for a custom build that could handle both work and play. Mark didn’t want an off-the-shelf build, so he set out to create something unique. The first challenge was fitting 37-inch rubber, which many claimed was impossible on this model. Undeterred, Mark worked with PSR in Yatala, who provided a 50mm body lift. Initially, 33-inch tyres were fitted, but Mark soon upgraded to 37x12.50R17 Yokohama X-ATs on bronze Lenso M79 alloys.
