HIGH COUNTRY TO REOPEN (VIC) After the winter closure, most of the tracks in the Victorian High Country will reopen again this year on the Melbourne Cup weekend which is slated for November 7. Depending on the weather, some tracks may remain closed for a longer duration until conditions are deemed suitable to reopen them.
