TOYOTA threw up a couple of surprises with its 2024 LandCruiser announcements back at the start of August and while we were expecting the unveiling of the 250 Series Cruiser/Prado, the revised 70 Series line-up wasn’t expected. We know Toyota had been testing the four-cylinder diesel and auto combo in the 70 Series range, but we didn’t expect to be seeing it this year. After all, it’s been nigh impossible to get any new 70 Series in 2023, so we hope they will be ramping up production of all variants for the remainder of the year and into 2024.
