Scout Motors has pulled the wraps off its two new electric 4x4 vehicles in the USA where they are set to go on sale as 2027 models. Now a part of the Volkswagen Group of companies, these are the first new vehicles to wear the iconic Scout badge since 1980. Dubbed the Scout Traveller for the wagon model and the Scout Terra for the pick-up, they will be offered with a choice of full BEV propulsion or with a petrol-fuelled range extending power plant. Fully electric variants are anticipated to offer up to 350 miles of range, and range-extended variants are projected to offer more than 500 miles.
