TOYOTA CONFIRMS TUNDRA FOR 2025 LAUNCH

THE TOYOTA TUNDRA LIMITED WILL ARRIVE IN NOVEMBER THIS YEAR, WITH A HIGH-SPEC PREMIUM MODEL TO FOLLOW IN 2025

TOYOTA Australia has confirmed that the Tundra full-size pickup will join its local fleet for model year 2025. Following a nine-month evaluation process where 300 vehicles were leased out to potential owners to use as they saw fit to test the vehicles, TMCA now says that the Tundra will be in Toyota dealers from mid-November this year. Manufactured at a Toyota plant in the USA, and only in left-hand drive configuration, the Tundras will be imported to Australia and remanufactured to right-hand drive by TMCA’s partner, the Walkinshaw Group at its Melbourne facility. Walkinshaw has the runs on the board in this re-engineering business as it does similar work with RAM vehicles for Ateco Automotive, and on Chevrolet Silverados for GMSV, but Ryan Walkinshaw says that the work with Toyota is different…
