Australia’s Ultimate New Car Comparison Site whichcar.com.au MORE DEFENDER MODELS ARRIVING LAND Rover’s short-wheelbase, two-door Defender 90 will be hitting local showrooms in April/May with an extensive 16-variant line-up, which includes three engine choices in both petrol and diesel, plus 200, 250 and 300 tunes for the six-cylinder diesel. The inline-six Ingenium engine becomes the only diesel, as the four-cylinder has been discontinued and only arrived in Australia in very limited numbers, while there is a choice of petrol engines – the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder P300 and the stonking, supercharged and turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six P300. With the D90 coming online, the Defender range becomes an extensive 25-model line-up with the Hardtop models also due to arrive later in 2021.
