2021 F-150 RAPTOR REVEALED BUT NO V8 - YET!

ALL-NEW GEN PICKUP HAS SUSPENSION UPGRADES, BIGGER RUBBER AND MORE TO MAKE IT AN OFF-ROAD SUPER WEAPON.

FORD USA has released details of its third-generation Raptor F-150 and you’d be forgiven for thinking it doesn’t look all that different to the outgoing model, but this is an all-new generation of the iconic pickup truck. While the much-rumoured supercharged V8 engine wasn’t mentioned, it’s probably arriving in 2022 with the now confirmed F-150 Raptor R which is set to take on the 700hp Ram TRX. The F-Truck’s rear suspension has been re-engineered with a five-link setup that includes extra-long trailing arms, a panhard rod and 24-inch coil-overs replacing the leaf springs of the previous generation. The new setup allows Ford to fit optional 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tyres beneath the wheel arches, although 35s are standard.
