CHECK OUT THE CROCS (NT) The gathering of crocs at Cahills Crossing on the East Alligator River and on the edge of Kakadu NP has always been an attraction for visitors. Now there is a proper viewing area with three platforms and a picnic area linked by a rainforest walk. The platforms overlook Cahills and provide a safe vantage point to view the crocs that gather in large numbers to feed on mullet and barramundi in the later part of the dry season.
