STU’S PATROL GETS A SET OF ALL-NEW NARVA ULTIMA 215 LEDs.

THE LEDs CLEARLY LIT UP THE ENTIRE 300M OF ROAD WE POINTED THEM AT THE OLD driving lights that came with my Patrol have served me well, but they’re now 16 years young and it’s time to update them to a set of Narva Ultima 215 LEDs. These LEDs are super powerful, producing 165W through 33x5W Cree LEDs that claim 10,500 raw lumens. Constructed from pressure die-cast aluminium and sealed against dust and water ingress, the lights weigh only 2.8kg each and at only 235mm high, the LEDs weren’t too much bigger than the old IPFs. The hard-coated polycarbonate lens is claimed to be virtually unbreakable and will survive the onslaught of bouncing stones and debris I’ll soon encounter out on the tracks.
