Create a retro-futuristic mecha

Mechas are for sure one of the most popular genres in 3D art, but then also one of the most tedious in terms of modelling. Creating large scenes with many mechanical parts, complex shaders and on top a realistic human character can be a frustrating experience at first, but when you break it down to the smallest and simplest steps it can really be the most enjoyable process! In this tutorial we will cover some basic techniques for creating mechanical objects as well as nifty tricks to save a considerable amount of work here and there.
