Making the most of a small bathroom can be tricky, so allow plenty of time for planning. There is lots of expert advice available, so it can pay to consult a bathroom designer. First, think about your needs. Do you prefer showers or baths? Consider installing a wet room or a luxurious power shower instead of a bath. Think carefully about the door position, too. If space is really limited, consider an outward-opening or sliding door. Finding furniture Fitting a basin into a corner cabinet can open up valuable floor space; corner shower units can also be used.
