With autumn turning the trees a glorious gold and the promise of an equally glorious sunny day ahead, I picked the most picturesque route I could and headed to Andover via a selection of sweeping, scenic A roads. Who needs motorways! At the venue, all looked quiet with only a couple of bikes and a sign outside hinting of the soiree occurring. For a second I was a little worried I’d ‘done a Yoda’ and turned up on the wrong day, but luckily a large sign confirmed that I was indeed in the right location and there were members of the Savages MC directing visitors. A small bluey green note was dragged from my wallet and exchanged for a red paper bracelet and I was directed up a tiny drive…
