GAME OVER FOR NIKEN

One of the most remarkable new launches of recent years has been the Yamaha Niken. It made its debut in 2018 and it was only a matter of time before someone decided to make a custom version. It came as no surprise to us that that someone would be Game Over Cycles in Poland

THIS IS THE VERY FIRST CUSTOM YAMAHA NIKEN IN THE WORLD Game Over Cycles has featured a couple of times in this magazine with The Recidivist in 100% Biker #206, its completely tattooed Harley-Davidson Twin Cam, and then—unusually for us—once more in issue #229 when the bike had gained not only more decoration but a sidecar as well. The Polish company marches to the sound of its own drum but its radical builds thus far have concentrated on American motorcycles. However, in 2018, Game Over Cycles became the only official Yamaha dealership and service centre in south-east Poland and so, for its next major project it decided not only to take on a Japanese motorcycle but one that presented unique challenges.
