1. Dish Soap Mix 1 part Castile soap with 10 parts water 2. All-Purpose Cleaner Warm 1 qt. water and add ¼ cup Castile soap. Mix and pour into a spray bottle. 3. Face/Body Wash Wet hands and face, add 2–3 drops Castile soap to hands and rub to lather. Apply to face and rinse well. Add a squirt of Castile soap to a wet washcloth or sponge and rub all over your body. 4. Shave Lather Wet your hands and skin, add 4–5 drops of Castile soap to your hands and rub until foamy. 5. Blending your DIY recipes is all fun and games until you realize you don’t have anywhere to store them. Properly storing your homemade products is important, as many of them don’t contain preservatives. You’ll want to store them in an airtight container in a dark, cool place. Reusing product packaging is a simple way to reduce waste, save some dollars, and keep your DIY habit alive. While you can reuse plastic containers, I recommend sticking with glass. Glass is easier to clean; it won’t harbor unwanted smells and residues from previous recipes; and it’s safer.
