This year, the Big 12 conference and SI Swimsuit joined forces to celebrate the beauty found in the strength and empowerment of student-athletes. Through the Be You Women’s Empowerment series—hosted on campus by recent Big 12 additions Brigham Young, Central Florida, Cincinnati and Houston—student-athletes, prominent women leaders and SI Swimsuit models came together to inspire students to prioritize their mental well-being and embrace their inner strength through panel discussions and branded activations. The collaboration also resulted in three exceptional student-athletes from the conference—UCF shortstop Jas Williams, Cincinnati forward Jillian Hayes and Houston diver Alexa Massari—being sent to Belize to participate in a photo shoot for the 2024 issue.
