About National Geographic Hrvatska
U pretprošlom stoljeću, davne 1888. godine, utemeljeni su Društvo National Geographic i njegovo istoimeno glasilo koje je danas najpopularniji i ponajbolji popularnoznanstveni časopis na svijetu, koji se čita doslovce na svim kontinentima. Od 2003. obitelji u žutom okviru priključio se i National Geographic Hrvatska i munjevito osvojio hrvatske čitatelje te je danas među najčitanijim časopisima u Hrvatskoj! Pod motom “Nadahnjujemo ljude da se skrbe o svom planetu” NGH nije samo sadržajno i fotografski legendarno obrazovno i zanimljivo štivo, nego i brojnim akcijama radi za okoliš i planet – pošumljavali smo naše gore, čistili jezera, podmorje i šume, održavali edukativne radionice i predavanja, tiskali specijalne tematske publikacije te utemeljili jedinstvenu aktivnost i nagradu Žuti okvir u sklopu promocije i borbe za održivi razvoj i budućnost. In the last century, in 1888, the National Geographic Society and its eponymous newsletter were founded. Since 2003, National Geographic Croatia has joined the family in a Yellow frame and has quickly won over Croatian readers and is today among the most read magazines in Croatia! Under the moto "We inspire people to take care of their planet" NGH is not only content and photo legendary educational and interesting reading, but also numerous actions for the environment and the planet - we afforested our mountains, cleaned lakes, submarines and forests, held educational workshops and lectures, print special thematic publications and establish a unique Yellow Frame activity and award as part of the promotion and fight for sustainable development and the future.
