Educational

I share this with the world history class which has been very informative to add more facts for the class to learn more on what they are studying. This magazine complements the book we use to teach children about world history.

I would buy this publication w/its other pubs.

I use it for reference and to increase my knowledge. They cover subjects that other magazines ignore.

I look forward to every issue and thoroughly enjoy it.

It touches the history buff in me and my archaeology interest. It really brings the past to life.

Right in the sweetspot

I have read NG for years and have always enjoyed the history articles exp Vikings. This mag has easy to understand writing, graphics, and photos that can be enjoyed an article at a time thru various times in history from the recent past to ancient Egypt. It is glossy and full color with a thicker binding then normal NG. I usually donate old NGs to local library but I have kept all of these and have encouraged my library to add a subscription as well for patrons to enjoy.

Thank God Nat Geo believes in science

Great magazine. And thankfully pays attention to actual science instead of bowing down to the religious lobby.

Great History

I have subscribed to this magazine from it's first issue and continue to collect "almost" every issues. Every now and then there is an issues that is boring or slanted against the conservative or Bible believing individual. I throw those issues away (about 4 so far). Otherwise, being an amateur historian, I keep the other issues for study and reference.
