Maxim’s long-serving Art & Design Director, who enjoyed a decades-long career in magazine publishing, passed away at his home in Upper Grandview, New York, on December 1, 2024. He was 72. Guillaume was born in Paris to Marguerite Aujol, a homemaker, and Bernard Bruneau, a lawyer and former mayor of Vaucresson, France. As a teenager, he served in the French navy and began a lasting love affair with motorcycles.
