Tried to sign up for Make before at their website but couldn't get around their forced auto renewal. Saw that Didcount Magazine offered a subscription without being forced to renew. Thank You! SlickDeals Promo code 7717 saved me $8
Make is a great magazine for people who like to build things. Each magazine follows a theme. It has a wide variety of content, so there is almost always a magazine that will be of interest. The biggest problem that it has is the wide variety of topics for making things. Some magazines have zero things someone would want to make because they are not in a topic area of interest. This would be fine if the magazine didn't come out more frequently than every other month, but since there are only six issues a year, it's a bit pricey to get a magazine that you would have no interest in reading.
I use Make to learn how to build different (mostly) electronics projects. It allows people to learn about technology via hands-on experience.
I highly recommend Make. (I do suggest that if you are thinking of giving it as a present to someone, make sure that they have at least a middle-school reading capability.)
This magazine is the perfect guide for a multifaceted hobbyist. Whether you enjoy mechanical projects or something with a bit of electric life you will find something to capture your interest. I am also glad to see such a publication available to revive the slumping technology curve and serve as a motivator for our youth to seek STEM education.
Great magazine, many ideas for "MAKE"ing fun and useful ideas come to life.
Interesting, with lots of projects, but many annoying personal profiles that do not interest me. Issue count has dropped from 6 to 4 annually.
I don't read every article but I find enough interesting to make my subscription wrthwhile.
Can't wait for another new issue to come. Make magazine is very entertaining and educational. If you are a maker, this magazine is a must.
