HOW DOES THIS MODE WORK? Until now, dancing’s been little more than a way to show off. Now it can help you claim Victory Royale! You’re split into two teams of up to 32 players each. You land on the map and then five dancefloors emerge within the Storm Circle. You and your teammates need to take control of the dancefloors by reaching them first and then emoting until the disco ball reaches the top of the pole, showing you’ve got control! Now you’ve got to defend the dancefloor, while trying to attack others. The longer your team retains control of the dancefloors, the more points it will score. If you’re anything like us, you spend the first minute or two of any Battle Royale smashing the place up, trying to get your hands on as many decent weapons as possible. Completing Fight the Storm missions isn’t that tricky, but getting all the bonus objectives takes a bit more work. This month’s Bronze challenge tasks you with doing exactly that, and we’re going to hand out some tips on how to meet all those mission goals – and more. Fight the Storm is both simple and surprisingly challenging. All you need to do is deploy and activate one or more Atlas devices, deposit BluGlo then defend them from waves of Husks. However, you’ll be fighting for eight minutes straight, without the respites you get in Ride the Lightning or Storm Shield Defence missions. You need to be on the ball! TACTICS: FIGHTING ZAPPERS AND BLASTERS

Sure, a bunch of Smashers can wreck a game in seconds, while a horde of Husks will always be dangerous, but if you’re going to get killed in Save the World, it’s the Blasters and the Zappers that tend to do it. The Zappers – gunslinger Husks packing hand cannons – can come from nowhere, cripple your shields and, in numbers, wipe you out with ease. The Blasters have a searing energy beam that can put you on the ground in only two or three blasts. Both are hugely effective at range, so don’t even need to get close to kill. We nearly called this one The Trump Challenge, because it’s all about building a wall. The Husks want to destroy your base, but you’re not about to let them through. Build a ‘wall of death’ to block their way, and you can hold them off and complete your mission, then there’s (almost) nothing they can do about it. Take that, suckers! How you build your wall and the traps you use is up to you. Use spikes, flame grills, ceiling zappers, wall darts or wall dynamos – it’s all the same to us.
