FROM THE BOOK:

It's practically impossible to find a hiding spot in the dark! Crawling along the floor, you end up crashing into table after table and knock over several chairs while you're at it. Your escape doesn't go unnoticed, and the stranger shouts something in Spanish.

The three of you freeze instantly and listen intently in the silence, hoping against hope that he walks away. The stranger's flashlight makes another sweep of the room, coming dangerously close to where you're crouched on the floor.

Panicking, you rush forward, toppling a small table, which breaks a glass display case and sends papers flying everywhere. The man's flashlight follows the floating papers right to you, trapping you in a blinding beam of light.

For some reason, Olivia and Samir are busily snatching up the scattered papers. Realizing you can't hide now, you yell, "Run!" and shine your phone's light around the room to find the nearest exit.

For once, you're in luck-a door is only a few steps away! But the man isn't far away, either, and quickly places himself between you and your exit. He yells at you in Spanish, and Olivia translates for you.

"I'll take those papers," he sneers through his dark ski mask. "Oh, and don't bother to run-you won't make it out alive."
