Amazing Spider-Man appeals to traditional super hero fans. Peter Parker was bitten by an irradiated spider as a teenager which gave him the amazing powers of Spider-Man. Peter has since matured into a young adult, but he hasn't forgotten that with great power comes great responsibility!
