Looking for a new way to celebrate Memorial Day? Whip up extra-long sub sandwiches and wash ’em down with sodas in fun old-fashioned flavors!

To-Do List The day before: • Gather trays, napkins, plates, cups and toothpicks • Buy sodas and chips The day of: • Shop for deli fixin’s and rolls • Fill cooler with ice • Slice rolls and prepare subs 1 Stock up at the supermarket! Start in the deli section for freshly sliced cold cuts. Then hit the bakery for your rolls. Look for thick loaves that are crusty on the outside and soft on the inside—hoagie rolls or Italian loaves are perfect, but skip baguettes, which are too thin to contain all those delicious fillings!
